Reference Letter
Auggust 29, 2013
Greetings:
Ms. Cotton has requested me to write her a letter of recommendation. Every year, I am approached by hundreds of students who request a recommendation letter. However, I end up recommending only a few of them. I believe that a letter of recommendation is very serious business. I write one, only when I am convinced that the candidate is an exceptional student. As an adjunct professor of business, I have come across many students with a sharp understanding and knowledge of business. However, it is the rare student who is able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of business. Ms. Cotton is one such rare student. I must say that it has always been a pleasure to see students develop a conceptual understanding of business. Furthermore, I am especially impressed by Ms. Cotton's ability to analyze complex business case studies. It is my conviction that this ability of Ms. Cotton will make her an invaluable asset to your organization. Feel free to contact me for additional information.
Sincerely,
Eric Freeman
